This project began in 2010 in a notebook in which variations on the same shape, the head, were sketched. These sketches were the starting point for the series of wooden sculptures Capítulo aparte, created in collaboration with Francisco Martín (master woodturner) in his workshop in Madrid. The series has grown over the years and has been shown in various national and international exhibitions. In 2015, the visual diary that Pep Carrió has been developing since 2007 focused on the head as the protagonist. A wide variety of techniques and approaches were used to create the same representation.
