Every day, Pep Carrió walks the 365 streets of the year with a digital camera, a square format, black and white mode, and a single goal: to let himself go… Wherever his eye leads him, wherever his index finger points, wherever his state of art, or simply of exposure to the elements, finally decides to lose its balance, to hold his gaze. He shoots incessantly, but at the end of each day he chooses a single photograph. A single image with which to inhabit, remember or run over the day. And then the even more difficult task when the year ends: to put or expose the complete harvest within reach of the poet Fernando Beltrán, and ask him to choose each month the image, just one, that most stirs, pleases, speaks, scratches or derails him.
Los días is a plastic-literary dialogue between Pep Carrió and Fernando Beltrán that began 25 years ago and has already generated an extensive and exciting shared library.
