In 2012, we traveled to Cape Verde, exploring the island of Santo Antão. On one of its beaches, countless shoe soles were scattered along the shore—a collection of footprints from a shipwreck.
This collection inspired the piece “Footprints” (“Huellas”), which formed part of the exhibition “The Remains” (“Los restos”) at Espai Lluc Fluxà (Mallorca) in 2014 and at the Galería Blanca Berlín (Madrid) in 2015.
