Blue Diary
Time is the tool that allows us to identify repetitions. Most are obligatory, necessary. Others are an expression of will, the consequence of a decision, perhaps of a plan; they have a purpose, they seek something, they desire. Pep Carrió’s Diaries belong to this category of repetitions. These Diaries do not distinguish between the profane and the sacred, between work and celebration; they know neither
silence nor pause; their rhythm is that of perpetual motion; in this, and in other things that should not be revealed, they resemble breathing, they resemble it so closely, so much so, that it begs the question of whether they are necessary. They are not: nothing necessary goes beyond the natural, and these Diaries recognise no limits.
