Endless memory

Photographic negatives
found in a bin
Madrid, May 2002.

In May 2002, poet Fernando Beltran found several boxes of negatives in a bin, sorted into onion skin envelopes, hundreds of them. There was no reference to the anonymous photographer who, for years, had portrayed a large number of people, also anonymous, who are now forgotten, asleep in a black-and-white dream.
This project is a tribute to all those memories, those fragments of lives lost in bins, traces and auctions.
