“Look, that woman has a garden of thorns in her eyes.
This other one has an empty corridor on her shoulders, the light enters from the side and erases any shadow of doubt. That one holds an absent son in her arms and her dreams are made of brick.
Look, that man has tattooed the map of his life on his body, he has rivers drawn instead of veins and each of his muscles bears the name of a city. That other one forgot his past and now he is only present. This one has a light wind riding between his lips, you would say he is smiling even though his voice cannot take flight.
None of these people have names, but they do have places.
Pep Carrió has placed them in the space of silence that separates one heartbeat from another. They can only be felt with the heart in the eyes.
